Hooray! Recently, near the Happy Houses for Children with Disabilities, its own well for water started working in Kalinovka village. Before that, the houses used water from the well of the liquidated Chernigov mental institution in Kalinovka (orphanage). After the institution ceased to exist, periodically the water disappeared and at any time could be turned off.

Thanks to the help of the charity Future Youth project and Vinca Peterson from England, a well was drilled and equipped with the necessary equipment 21 m deep. The cost of the well was about $ 1000. Now the houses can be provided with better quality technical water 24 hours a day.

Of course, we will have to mention our inactive department of social protection of the Zaporozhye Regional State Administration, headed by Svetlana Abdurakhmanova: neither the department nor the regional council, which owned the Chernigov mental institution, thought about providing special orphans with water after the institution was closed. The indifference of our officials, as always, goes off scale, and it is possible to resolve issues only thanks to donations.

The next step is the epic of reconnecting houses to the power grid, on which foster parents will have to spend precious time and money. We are sure that until the leadership of the department of social protection of the region is replaced, we should not expect any activity and productive work from it
