Dancing is not her only labour of love. Sophia loves travelling and her participation in a dance team gives her such a great opportunity. The girl is amazed by Saint Petersburg, which she visited recently. The museums, bridges, fountains and the cruiser “Aurora” took her breath away.
During her seven years at the orphanage in the Boarding School, Sophia has travelled a lot around Crimea and the Carpathian mountains. The girl is not afraid of difficulties. She is keen on mountain climbing. There is no wonder that geography is her favourite subject. Walking tours can teach you a lot of interesting things, as well as help you to test yourself and understand nature. Such little trips can be a real acid test of a true friendship. Sophia values friendship very much.
The girl has got brothers and a sister. Some of her siblings are in different orphanages, some –already work, but they all always keep in touch with Sophia and support her as much as they can.
Sophia has also some ‘quiet’ girl’s interests: she is fond of drawing, knitting, and sewing. Her favourite hobby though is making soft toys.
The girl’s greatest dream, however, is to understand what it feels like to be a member of a loving family. She really needs someone’s support to reach her goals and career prospects. I’m sure that you can be that person who can guide Sophia.

If for some reason you are not currently able to adopt, you can still help children from the boarding school (orphanage) through your organizational or financial support. Ways you can help include planning and participating in excursions and trips for the children, visiting a child in the orphanage, or helping purchase developmental toys, books, construction sets, and sport equipment.
