A child needs a family: Alina L., born in 1995

March 22, 2011, 9:00 3073 Author: translated by Elene Guda www.deti.zp.ua Alina has told us that the American family with whom she stayed with her sister during the holidays had specially prepared for the visit of the Ukrainian children: they had found a recipe of borsch somewhere, then made it and treated the girls.

Alina is a real elder sister. She is soft and patient; she calmly takes all the Anya’s tricks. The latter listens to Alina even when she pretends she doesn’t.

Alina is a shy girl. At the same time, she likes songs and dances, especially the folk ones. She performs at school concerts. Besides being good at dances herself, Alina willingly teaches dancing others.

The girl is industrious; she appreciates beauty and is going to study to be a hairdresser after school. Alina has a close friend because she values human relations.

The girl falls under influence easily. Seems she is quite aware of the fact herself. Alina is looking for someone “to stick to”; for someone who can become her support. Certainly, parents – strong grown-up people – could serve as an example for her. But alas: Alina does not have parents. Maybe you are ready to give the girl a start in life offering her your example and parental support?

If you are interested in adopting Alina or other children, please read the memo

to the potential adoptive parents, guardians and foster parents; you can also contact Service of children’s affairs of the Zaporozhye state administration by the telephone (061) 239-02-51

Other children who dream of finding a family.

If for some reason you are currently not able to adopt (for example, you are a student and do not have a family of your own yet) you are still able to help children from the boarding school (orphanage) through your organizational or financial support of excursions and trips for the children; you can also visit children in the orphanage or help in purchases of development toys, construction sets, books and sport equipment.
