Sophia Geyko’s grandmother has sent one more letter to our helpers:

9 long months have passed since we started our hard path to the recovery.

The last day of the 3rd course was in the end of February. Thank God, Sophiyka was able to bear it in spite of all complications and difficulties that occurred during the treatment.

Radiation treatment has started from the 1st of March. Later two lumbar punctures will be necessary and now Sophiyka takes “Purinethol” powders of chemo medication simultaneously with radiation treatment.

Sonechka’s condition is normal. And though her appetite has become worse the doctors say it is a normal response of the organism to the radiation treatment.

We pray and hope that our child will be able to bear this treatment stage, too.

I, again, want to express my sincere gratitude to everyone who has been with us from the first day of Sonya’s illness: our family is thankful to you for each hryvna and each prayer you give us.

I thank God because He touched upon your hearts and you didn’t stay indifferent to our grief.

Let’s hope we will soon complete the basic treatment and will start supportive treatment. We pray, hope and believe.
