A Child Has a Family: Zhenya, born in 2002

May 11, 2010, 17:05 7277 Author: Yana Sasina, Olga Kurlikova (translated into English by Kharnova-Pair) www.deti.zp.ua Zhenya was adopted!

Zhenya never gets lost among the other boys and girls since she is such a restless and fidgety child. The small mischievous girl never has trouble attracting one’s attention – she pulls your skirt or slightly bites your hand. The educators never see her having a pity-party because the child is always cheerful and full of energy despite her difficult life. She is constantly on the move, and even a photo camera lens cannot catch her in focus.

Zhenya is always active and she loves playing with her swing set, unlike the other kids who rather just play with their toys. The child is a bit shy around the children of her age. However, she is very brave and courageous when dealing with new visitors. The girl suffers from a lack of motherly care and gentleness, so she is attracted to everyone who is nice and kind to her. She hides her lonely soul behind the wall of her active and independent lifestyle. But as soon as she receives a warm hug and a little love, the mischievous girl suddenly becomes docile and calm.

If you are interested in adopting Zhenya, please read the memo to the potential adoptive parents, guardians, and foster parents; you can also contact Children’s Affairs' service of the Zaporozhia State Administration by telephone (061) 239-01-56.
