Not so long ago the staff of charity fund "Happy Child" got an idea to create a mobile play room. The main concept of which is to buy various educational games, toy railways and "Lego" sets. One of the volunteers will be constantly present in the room to assist kids in their playing and to insure that all toys are safe. As mentioned before, the original idea was to create a mobile game room: one month it would be located in one of the region's orphanages and the next - in the other. But life made its own corrections.

Orphanage #3 in Zaporozhye was chosen as the first place to host the mobile game room. After conducting classes for a month, we realized that this form of developmental and recreational activities was a huge success among children and continuously held their interest; so it would be cruel to deprive them of such a joy and opportunity to learn. Therefore, we decided to convert a mobile game room into a stationary one.

Since the beginning of the school year one more mobile game room was opened in Zaporozhye Regional Asylum (the article in Russian). Although it is not 100% stocked we think it is better than nothing.

It is not a secret for anyone that a lot of orphans have developmental delays. Such games are aimed to expand child’s horizons and boo development. Right now some work is needed on these rooms. Firstly, the lack of volunteers to support these classes is felt the most. Ultimately, it's them who bring novelty and excitement into each class. Secondly, game rooms need updating and new educational toys and games. Therefore, let's not stay aside but give these kids a gift of love. They truly need it!
