The conversation with Alexey and Marina was interesting and positive, because children willingly talked about themselves and their hobbies.
The boy likes almost all school subjects, but especially geography and biology, and Marina likes English. The girl not simply likes it, she seriously thinks to become philologist in the future. She has another hobby – cookery that is why she is not quite sure in her future profession yet. She chooses between a teacher and a cook. In addition, Alexey would like to be an auto mechanic. The boy likes cars and when he becomes older, he will pass an exam to get a driver’s license
Alexey gladly does handiworks like household tools on the lessons and, in general, he says that the man should fix everything in the house by his own hands. In spare time Alexey likes watching films on DVD. One day the child dreams to get new laptop or computer.
Marina adores reading and she often visits the library. Also the girl is keen on athletics and hip-hop dancing. She has taken part in many competitions very successfully.
Brother and sister are proud that they have many faithful friends. The children dream about pets. Marina wants a hamster and Alexey seriously thinks that, when he is an adult, he will have German Shepherd, which will protect his house. Alexey says: «A dog is the best signalization».
When we asked children about being in a family, they said, that they really want to have a family! Alexey and Marina need love, care and respect. They think that in a family everyone should appreciate each other. We hope Marina and Alexey will have exactly such a family.
These are the children with special educational needs.
If you are interested in adopting these or other children, please read the memo to the potential adoptive parents, guardians, and foster parents; you can also contact Children’s Affairs' service of the Zaporozhia State Administration by telephone (061) 239-01-56 and refer to the profile number of Alexey - 0059853 and Marina 0059851.
Other children who dream of finding a family
If for some reason you are currently not able to adopt (for example, you are a student and do not have a family of your own yet) you are still able to help children at a boarding school (an orphanage) with your financial support. Ways you can help include: planning and participating in excursions and trips for children; visiting a child in an orphanage; or helping purchase developmental toys, books, construction sets, and sports equipment.
