Shoes for children of the orphanage #3 of Zaporozhye, Ukraine

May 6, 2008, 0:04 3693 Author: Albert Pavlov www.deti.zp.ua In May 2008 we plan to help resolve “shoes question” in the orphanage #3 of Zaporozhye. We are going to buy about 150 pairs of sports shoes, and do this on wholesale prices to save about 20% of sum

As generally known, usual child makes more than 10 000 steps daily. Sport and active games in childhood make strong basis for future long and healthy life. And everyone knows that playing in football is much more pleasant in quality comfortable shoes.

Loving parents buy new shoes for their children when it needed, but for orphans shoes is a big problem. The fact is that orphanages (internats) have standards – how many pairs need to be given to each child per some period of time. Orphanage’s administration can’t violate this rules. As a result, many orphans differ from the “domestic” children to the bad side. Orphans often can be easily recognized by ragged clothes and shoes.

While orphanage’s system will exist in Ukraine, until all children will find families, orphans will still need our help.

In May 2008 we plan to help resolve “shoes question” in the orphanage #3 of Zaporozhye. We are going to buy about 150 pairs of sports shoes, and do this on wholesale prices to save about 20% of sum. Definitely we will take into account shoes distribution according to sizes and sex of children. We will publish full financial and photo report about the action on our website.

Those, who wish to take part in this action, can make donation to the “Happy Child” charity or buy shoes together with us.

We would be glad to answer any your question or hear suggestion. Please, write to detizp@mail.ru or call +3 8 066 513 34 35
