Dear friends, our “Happy Home-3” in the village of Ukrainka is soon to be opened! The family which will live in this house is packed and ready to move to their new home in the children’s eco village as soon as it is ready.
Thanks to the financial support of Denver and Ami (USA), Rob (UK), Joham (Netherlands), Pavel (Russia), Irina, Oksana, Aleksey (Ukraine) and many others, we had an opportunity to procure the materials and pay for the required works in the last two months. The construction workers laid the tile in the kitchen and installed the lights, almost completed internal works in sanitary facilities and are finishing installing doors.
Generally speaking, the house with the total area of 200 square meters may already welcome its residents; there is a functioning heating system, washing machine and refrigerator as well as Internet access. But we hope that the foster parents will not have to deal with finishing construction works but will have a chance to fully focus on raising children. To open Happy Home-3, we need to:
Procure light fixtures, ceiling and table lamps and LED bulbs. It will cost about USD 400.
Hang 280 sq. meters of wallpaper USD 350.

After the ground floor is ready and the family moves in, we will start works on the first floor – it will host one more foster family with 5 children! Thus, the house will be able to host up to 15 children.
