The little baby in the photo is Veronichka Dolgopolova. She is the long-awaited, most desired and come true miracle in her family.
From birth Veronica is a cheerful and active child. Likes to play with other children, build a constructor, draw and watch cartoons. Smiling, bright, quick-witted - a ray of sunshine that is happy to learn everything new in our big world.
In the fall, Veronichka went to kindergarten. This event became an ordeal for the family: a turning point and a point of no return to a quiet life. Almost from the first days of visiting the garden, Veronica began to suffer from obstructive bronchitis. For less than a year, she and her mother were in three children's hospitals in our city. According to the girl's documents, it can be seen that the doctors made almost all the known tests for her to establish the cause of persistent illnesses. In January 2021, the final diagnosis was made in the pulmonology of the regional children's hospital - cystic fibrosis, severe course. Now the family is just learning to live with this disease.
When we first met Veronica's mother, thanks to our "emergency" reserve, we were able to immediately help the family with an inhaler, specialized food, fitball - a ball that will help the girl get rid of viscous phlegm. But this is only a small part of what is needed. Children with cystic fibrosis need a sterilizer for daily inhaler treatment, a recirculator for room treatment, vitamins and specialized nutrition. All the family's possibilities were exhausted during the delivery of dozens of tests and studies. While Veronica's parents are seeking to provide the necessary medicines, the girl needs medical equipment, vitamins and specialized food for a total of 365 dollars.
