Report on receipts and expenses of donations
WARNING! AS OF 05/27/2024: The collection has been stopped! Currently, there is no contact with the boy's parents! All collected funds will be used for the treatment of other children.
In 2022, the boy fell ill with an infectious disease, after which swelling appeared on his face and lower limbs. Laboratory tests confirmed kidney problems. The first course of treatment was completed in 2023 in Kyiv, but unfortunately, the disease returned with complications.
Nikitka is a very cheerful and lively boy. He enjoys learning poems and painting pictures. But most of all, he misses direct communication with other children. Due to the necessity of taking hormonal pills and cytostatics (chlorambucil), which weaken his immune system, the child is in self-isolation. To stay connected with other children, Nikitka continues his classes and communication via the Internet.
Currently, Nikitka undergoes periodic treatment at the Zaporizhzhia Regional Children's Hospital. He requires constant supervision and regular examination by a nephrologist. To prevent kidney failure, Nikita has been prescribed a 10-month course of treatment with the medication Lekeran. The cost of one bottle, which lasts for less than a month, is 2,400 hryvnias (61 US dollars).
Therefore, our goal is to raise 24,000 hryvnias (610 US dollars) to assist the family in covering their son's treatment expenses.
