Timofiy was born prematurely, weighing only 810 grams. He spent three and a half months in the intensive care unit, breathing with the help of a mechanical ventilator. Later, the boy underwent eye surgery, blood transfusions, and prolonged medical treatment. Only after six months was Timofiy finally able to go home, where his two sisters were eagerly waiting for him.
Unfortunately, premature birth left its mark. Timofiy was diagnosed with a delay in the development of the musculoskeletal system, bronchopulmonary dysplasia, and epileptic syndrome.
Timofiy is now a little over a year old. He still cannot sit up on his own, but he confidently holds his head, rolls over, and supports himself with his arms while lying on his tummy. Timofiy enjoys playing with toys and is happiest when his sisters entertain him.
To catch up with his peers, Timofiy practices daily at home with his parents, swims three times a week, and undergoes massage and rehabilitation courses at the Regional Children’s Hospital. However, this is not enough. His parents dream of taking him to the International Rehabilitation Clinic of Kozyavkin in Truskavets, where he can receive unique care that could significantly improve his condition.
Since May last year, we have been helping Timofiy together with you. During this time, a pulse oximeter with a neonatal sensor was purchased to constantly monitor his oxygen levels. We have also repeatedly bought diapers and special nutrition. This time, we aim to raise funds for a rehabilitation course at the Kozyavkin clinic, costing 23,780 UAH (approximately 580 USD).
