Less than two months ago, Rostyslav — Zakhar’s older brother and guardian — reached out to us. After a consultation with Professor Mezentsev A.O., the boy was recommended a two-stage surgical intervention: first, surgery on the left thigh, followed by spinal deformity reconstruction.

On June 18, 2025, in Dnipro, at the clinic of Professor Rudnev, the first stage — surgery on the thigh — was successfully performed.

Thanks to your support and our long-time partner Maya’s Hope, we raised the necessary funds in time to purchase a set of instruments and consumables for the operation.

Zakhar is now back home, feeling well, and diligently following all the doctor’s instructions. He is sincerely grateful to everyone who helped him take this important step towards a life without pain.

One more stage lies ahead — the spinal surgery. We are confident that together we will be able to continue supporting Zakhar.
