Report on donations received and expenses
Anastasia was born after a difficult birth: hypoxia, umbilical cord entanglement, and two weeks on a ventilator. Later, doctors diagnosed her with cerebral palsy. Since then, the fight for a full life began — endless hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and doctor consultations.
Despite all efforts, Anastasia cannot sit or walk independently, so she requires constant assistance in daily activities. Nevertheless, she is incredibly sincere, smart, and cheerful. With her mother’s help, she enjoys drawing, modeling with clay, listening to fairy tales, and spending time with her younger brother Volodymyr.
Recently, Anastasia’s condition sharply worsened: due to pathological muscle tone, she developed a hip dislocation. She cannot straighten her leg and experiences severe pain even at rest. Without surgery — femoral osteotomy with plate fixation — the situation will only worsen, whereas surgery will restore proper joint position and relieve her pain.
Anastasia’s family is currently going through a difficult period: her mother takes care of two children alone, as her father has been defending Ukraine for almost two years. All savings were spent on rehabilitation, so they cannot independently pay for the urgent surgery. The cost of implants, 65,000 UAH (approximately 1,548 USD), was covered by a kind donor, and we are starting a fundraising campaign for the surgery itself, costing 42,600 UAH (approximately 1,014 USD). The operation is scheduled for the coming weeks.
Help Anastasia live without pain!
