On March 15, in Zaporozhye, the smallest were evacuated from the regional children orphanage "Solnyshko".

Children were evacuated from Zaporozhye by rail. Together with them, 19 employees of the orphanage, as well as 11 guardians from Zaporozhye and 16 children under their care, left.

"We evacuated 100 of the smallest pupils of the regional orphanage "Solnyshko". Most of them are Zaporozhye children," Anatoly Kurtev said.

Earlier it was reported that 37 pupils of the orphanage remained in the occupied Pologi. The leadership of the orphanage is waiting for a humanitarian corridor to take the children out.
