For five long years, Nikita fought against a difficult diagnosis — Ewing's sarcoma, and finally won! Of course, he endured many tests: high-dose chemotherapy, auto bone marrow transplantation, radiation therapy, chemotherapy tablets. He continued to fight the disease even when a full-scale invasion began in Ukraine, and dad joined the ranks of the Armed Forces!
At the end of January, our foundation paid for an expensive examination of the boy's entire body. According to the PET CT results, the doctors were able to conclude that his body is completely "clean". This means that can finally do away with daily chemotherapy pills! Yes, of course, Nikita still has a lot of planned examinations ahead of him, but the main thing is that he managed!
Oncology is not a sentence, but a challenge! It is possible to defeat oncology, and our wards prove it on their own experience, by their own example!
