Happy Child Fund continues to purchase medical equipment for different departments of Zaporozhye regional children’s hospital

Unfortunately our government marks out very small amounts of money for purchasing modern medical equipment for our state hospitals. Old outmoded facilities of our state children’s hospitals can not provide precise diagnostics and treatment.

Due to donations of many not indifferent people our fund purchased different necessary medical equipment for our hospitals.

Almost no one department of Zaporozhye regional children’s hospital has computer. Our doctors can’t print their documents, they have no possibility to use internet and other modern necessary equipment.

So we have bought 3g-modem and provided the hematology department of Zaporozhye regional children’s hospital with high-speed internet connection.

We also bought modern computer and printer for department of the pathology of newborns.

We have also bought 2 syringing pumps Perfusor®B.Braun Space for more effective infusion operations: one pump is for hematology department and another one is for the department of the pathology of newborns (the total sum is 14871 hryvnas or about 2916 dollars).

We also bought scales for children for the department of the pathology of newborns.

For the Orthopedy and traumatology department of Zaporozhye Regional Children's Hospital the bone drill was bought (it costed 6000 hryvnas or about 1200 dollars).

Happy Child Fund has also bought a pulse sensor for the brigade of children's resuscitation medical aid of the city's station of emergency care (about 900 dollars).

Pulse sensor is very important instrument for children's resuscitation. It measures an oxygen level in patient's blood

We hope for future donations for purchasing medical equipment to provide our children's departments with it.

1. Preparation for mucoviscidosis treatment;

2. Training apparatus for kinesitherapy;

3. Quartz lamps for wards.

Here are some needs of Orthopedy and traumatology department:

1. Child’s arthroscope for endoscope investigation;

2. Surgical set;

3. Bearing components for Ilizarov's external fixators;

4. Surgical shadowless light;

5. Air-conditioners for wards;
