Medicine for Alexandra

Medicine for Alexandra

Alexandra Vlasova has bronchial asthma. Every four months, she must be examined at Zaporozhye Regional Children's Hospital and receive allergen injections. This allows you to control the disease and avoid severe exacerbations.

In May, Alexandra did not come to Zaporozhye. Her native Berdyansk is under occupation. The Russian invaders "liberated" the girl from treatment and put her life in danger.

Doctors have prescribed medicine in the form of “Оралтек” spray, which can replace injections and delay hospitalization for another four months. The girl's mother turned to us with a request to purchase and send medicine to Berdyansk.

Thanks to your donations, we were able to buy the medicine right away. But the delivery of the drug, which cost 9,000 hryvnias, made me nervous - the journey of 200 km took three weeks. When we received a photo of Alexandra with the medicine, we breathed a sigh of relief. The medicine came on time - the very next day it was necessary to start treatment!

This story illustrates how a senseless war endangers the lives of critically ill children.
