On June 2nd the children’s department of the Kirovo orphanage welcomed nineteen orphans with special needs from the Chernigov Child’s Home. These children are diagnosed with severe physical conditions. They are all bed-ridden. Five of the children require tube feeding.

These special children are staying in a separate group where they receive proper care from a physician, a nurse, a paramedic as well as a masseur. The children have an opportunity to watch TV and listen to music. They also enjoy regular strolls outside.

The work with special children requires highly qualified personnel. The people, who work at the orphanage, love children, feel them and their pain. They try to relieve the children’s sufferings and brighten up their lives.
