The child has found a family: Vladislav S., born in 2003

September 15, 2014, 12:30 4831 Author: Anastasia Pisareva, translated by Yevheniya Devyatkova www.deti.zp.ua Vladislav is in a new loving family.

Vladislav responds to sounds, words spoken kindly, gentle touches and massage. He smiles, turns his head around and waves his hand. He also expresses his emotions with sounds. He really loves it when someone takes him in his arms, so much that he just starts laughing happily. However loud sharp sounds frighten him.

Vlad knows his name. He likes compliments and enjoys listening the caregivers say “You are the best, the most handsome boy” - then he turns his head, smiles, moves his fingers.

Vladislav spends his days lying in his bed. He used to sleep through the most of the day, but now he wakes up and just spends time in the limited space he has. Unfortunately the only events happening to him are feeding, bathing, being turned from side to side and caressed by the caregivers. However the parents' care would be the most precious gift of all for the boy. Even now, as the caregivers say, he won't calm down in the morning or fall asleep at night without getting his portion of attention.

If you are interested in adopting Vladislav, please read the memo to the potential adoptive parents, guardians, and foster parents; you can also contact Children’s Affairs' service of the Zaporozhia State Administration by telephone (061) 239-01-56
