Donation income and expenditure report
Mylana has a rare genetic disease — congenital dystrophic epidermolysis bullosa. Her skin is so delicate that even the slightest touch can cause blisters that turn into open wounds. Children with this condition are often called “butterflies” because their skin is as fragile as a butterfly’s wings.
Every day is a real challenge for Mylana. Things that are routine for others can mean pain for her. Getting dressed, having breakfast, or taking just a few steps — all of it can lead to new injuries. Constant bandaging, dressings, plasters, and ointments are part of her daily reality.
Mylana spends most of her life at home. She can only go outside when the weather is cool, as heat worsens her skin condition. She enjoys watching cartoons or creating diamond mosaic art. She works slowly and carefully, using both hands — trying her best not to hurt herself again.
At 15, Mylana weighs just 17 kilograms. She suffers from chronic anemia and severe protein deficiency. To sustain her body and strengthen her system, she needs high-calorie protein nutrition. She also requires daily healing ointments and creams — without them, her skin has no chance to recover.
We aim to support Mylana’s family and raise funds for her special nutrition. To purchase the necessary supply for four months, we need 38,369 UAH (approximately 930 USD). Help us give Mylana the energy to live!
