One can endlessly speak about Kyiv. However, the best thing is to see and feel the beauty, values and soul of this amazing city for yourself. The truth to be told, I never saw such a friendly capital city as Kyiv during 21st-22nd of November 2014. There live wonderful, open-minded, hospitable and generous people who are always ready to help you.
Day 1st.
Our touristic group, which consisted of twenty-two children and two accompanying adults from Zaporizhzhia and its districts, was welcomed by a volunteer Vitaliy at the railway station. He perfectly got along with children right away. Taking into account our wishes, Vitaliy soon came with a route for us: Shevchenko Park, Golden Gate, Sofievska Square, Independence Square which leads to Peizazhna alley (“Landscape Alley” in English) which one of the boys in our group called “the street of blue cats”, Andriyivskyy Descent from where you can climb up to the observation deck with a wonderful view on the Dnieper River and Moscowskyi (“Moscow”) Bridge. Many thanks to Vitaliy for such an interesting excursion! This lively walk around Kiyv was not the end of our trip. We visited the “Experimentarium” Science and Technology museum, which brought the children so much fun and knowledge! Our young friends could try everything out! Then “Integrum” public organization invited us to “Tysyachyeletie” theater (“Century” in English) and even provided a bus for our group. This interesting play made the children think about friendship, treachery, and, of course, about love. After the play the Belous family, an ordinary family from Kyiv, invited our company of twenty-four people for dinner! We were all very touched about such a tremendous hospitality!
Day 2nd.
After the breakfast we headed to the “Dream Town” entertainment center. We really had the time of our life there: enjoyed free automobile rides, boiling and ice-skating! “Big Ben” pub treated us to nutritious and delicious meals. We’re grateful to the “Dream Town” management for their entertaining program. This awesome day flew fast, so we had to hurry to the train station. Thank you, Kiyv!!!
Kyiv is beautiful in any season and weather, so the better city than Kyiv can be only Kyiv!!!
