Confident, smart and sociable – these three words can describe Sasha's character in the best way possible. Sasha is sociable and outgoing; he likes to communicate with new people and is genuinely joyed when seeing guests.
"Sasha is a hardworking kid. He is the darling of the people. When helping us or other younger children, Sasha does not pursue any hidden aims. He always does it from his heart,"- nurses repeat unanimously. After meeting Sasha personally, it’s easy to believe these words.
Alexander is proud of his drawings and applications. All of them are very neat and bright - painted Easter eggs, animals hatched with colored pencils, flowers and winter landscapes. When drawing, Sasha retires into himself which helps him distract from painful thoughts and he splashes all his emotions on paper. Each of his works is beautiful in its own way because each of them contains a piece of child's bright soul.
This boy loves nature and while walking he strives to drop behind a little bit and look around. Sasha's attention is drawn by flowers, leaves, branches of an unusual form and shape, bark, and other gifts of nature. He carefully collects the materials which attracted his attention and uses them for making ikebanas.
Sasha distinguishes colors, knows geometric shapes and writes well. The staff of the orphanage notes that the boy began making significant progress in his study within the last year. He has absolutely no trouble studying mathematics and basics of physics.
If Sasha is given a grain of love and his undertakings and endeavors are supported, he is sure to flourish. After all it is impossible to realize one’s potential without strong support and people believing in your success.
Alexander is a child with special needs.
If you are interested in adopting this child or other children, please read the memo to the potential adoptive parents, guardians, and foster parents; you can also contact Children’s Affairs' service of the Zaporozhia State Administration by telephone (061) 239-01-56 and refer to the profile number of Alexander - 0055275.
Other children who dream of finding a family
If for some reason you are currently not able to adopt (for example, you are a student and do not have a family of your own yet) you are still able to help children at a boarding school (an orphanage) with your financial support. Ways you can help include: planning and participating in excursions and trips for children; visiting a child in an orphanage; or helping purchase developmental toys, books, construction sets, and sports equipment.
