The name Sergey comes from the Roman name Sergius, which means “clear”. When you get to know this boy better, you realize that it is just the right name for him.

Sergey is an open-hearted boy, full of light. He has got beautiful, talking eyes and blond hair. When he enters the room, everyone feels the warmth and the joy he brings. This child has an inner light and you can see it shining.

Sergey is not quite confident walking, but nevertheless he is eager to crawl in soft labyrinths and walks on massage carpets. Thanks to the efforts of rehabilitation specialists and nurses, he can get up and move on his own. It proves that the proverb “with time and patience the leaf of the mulberry becomes satin” is true. If this boy could feel sincere love, care and support, he would do his best to make his new family happy.

What Sergey enjoys doing most of all is slowly swinging in the garden in the shade of branchy trees. Probably, he could be swinging for a whole day, forgetting about everything, on the swings with soft seats.

Although Sergey starts feeling nervous when he sees someone he does not know, in his eyes one can see the sincere desire to find real friends and family, leave the orphanage and start an absolutely new and happy life.

Ways you can help include planning and participating in excursions and trips for children; visiting a child in an orphanage; or helping purchase developmental toys, books, construction sets, and sports equipment.
