But our Deniska is not an ordinary boy, he is a superman. The tests that have fallen on him can only be passed by real heroes.
At ten years old, Denis was found lymphoblastic leukemia. Our hero spent a whole year in a hospital, and then almost two more years at home, taking "chemotherapy" in pills. All this time he was homeschooled, and he could only dream of football with classmates. But last September Denis was going to "really" go to school.
Another analysis showed that the cancer did not give up, and instead of school, I had to return to the hospital. After the first block of chemotherapy, Denis did not move or talk, he stopped eating altogether. For two months he was "fed" intravenously. Now is the time to start the second block, but a new problem has been hampering for several months - a fungus in the lungs.
Some of the drugs for Denis's treatment are available at the hospital, but Imatinib and Depakin have to be bought on their own. Also, the state budget does not pay for CT examination, of which there were already six in the last two months! All together, this is about 250 dollars per month.
