Two weeks ago, we launched a fundraiser for Oleksii Voloshyn to help cover the costs of a necessary surgery. Thanks to your generous donations, we were able to pay the clinic in full and on time.

Due to complications from osteomyelitis, Oleksii’s left leg became two centimeters shorter than his right. Doctors recommended a minimally invasive procedure to insert a titanium plate, which was successfully completed last week. Oleksii is now back home but remains on pain medication and requires constant assistance. In time, when both legs reach equal length, the plate will be removed.

The surgery, including the titanium plate, ended up costing slightly less than initially estimated. Therefore, we transferred 33,060 UAH (Approximately 810 USD) to the clinic. The funds were raised through our website and the charity platform dobro.ua. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who took part in supporting Oleksii!
