Sharing Martha's Success

April 5, 2021, 19:07 1473 Author: Healthcare Volunteer: Yana Lobanok deti.zp.ua The girl underwent rehabilitation at the Krok za Krokom center.

Most recently, two-year-old Martha took her first step at the pillar. The baby was born with congenital malformations of the brain, heart and kidneys, so she develops at her own pace.

In March of this year, Marta underwent rehabilitation at the Krok by Krokom center. This is the second course in the girl's life and the results are impressive! After the first course, Marta began to sit down and crawl on her own, and after the second - walk at the support. I learned to fold the pyramid and repeat simple movements for adults, and with speech therapy massage I managed to remove excessive salivation. Mom and daughter left with a whole list of homework until the next rehab.

Martha's classes were not easy. The baby was capricious and did not always fulfill the requests of the rehabilitation therapists. But the task of a specialist is to find an approach and convince to do it through “I don’t want to”. This is the difference between classes at home and in a rehabilitation center. Thank you, dear helpers, for supporting Marta and giving her the opportunity to develop!
