Brothers Myroslav and Oleh share the same diagnosis: epilepsy. The symptoms of the disease appeared in both boys almost simultaneously. Since then, they have been taking anticonvulsant medications daily and require regular medical supervision.
Oleh, the younger of the brothers, underwent surgery to remove a brain tumor in early childhood. Currently, the boy has seizures about twice a month. After them, he remains very tired and weak for about three days, finding it difficult even to communicate.
Myroslav has been in stable remission for 5 years. However, due to past seizures and the diagnosis he shares with his brother, he also needs regular examinations and medical monitoring. It is especially important to monitor his condition now, during a period of active growth and maturation.

Today, the family's main task is to keep the epilepsy of both children under control. To achieve this, the brothers need to undergo night video-EEG monitoring and a consultation with an epileptologist once a year. This is a prolonged study during sleep that allows the doctor to assess brain activity and the course of epilepsy, as well as to understand how effective the prescribed treatment is.
The total cost of the examination for both children is 19,000 UAH (approx. 460 USD).
Due to the consequences of the brain tumor removed in early childhood, Oleh also requires constant medication support and regular rehabilitation. All these expenses fall on the family, and coping with them on their own is becoming increasingly difficult.
Therefore, we ask you to help Myroslav and Oleh undergo the necessary examination. We will be grateful to everyone for their support!
