Tigran fell ill when he was 10 months old: he lost his appetite and became weak. During the examination, doctors discovered a large tumor in the cervical spine. It prevented the outflow of fluid and at any moment could lead to cerebral edema. In the next few months, the baby underwent bypass surgery and two operations to remove the tumor.
Then there was chemotherapy: aggressive medications were poured into little Tigranchik for several days. Every time after the dropper, the baby did not feel well and took a long time to recover. Monthly for two years. And every three months he underwent an MRI examination.
In September of this year, a council of doctors decided that Tigranchik's chemotherapy was successful and could be completed. The twenty-first "chemistry" was the final one!
After undergoing surgeries and aggressive treatment, Tigran had to re-learn to sit, take the first steps and talk. Now the boy is three and a half. He lives near the sea, so he spends a lot of time on the beach with his family. Tigran loves to throw stones into the waves, run, jump and chat incessantly. But until recently one could only dream of it!
We have been helping Tigranchik for almost two years. Several times we bought Irinotecan for chemotherapy, which was not at the hospital at that time, and paid for an MRI scan. Together with you, we have provided assistance for $ 1,325.
Tigran must continue to undergo an MRI scan every three months. He still has a part of the tumor that cannot be removed, and it must be constantly monitored.
