The child found a family: Varvara D., born in 2007

October 2, 2013, 11:55 5412 Author: Maria Semashkina, translated by Daria Sukach www.deti.zp.ua New loving parents took Varvara into the family

You can easily describe little Varvara as a fidgeting child, a monkey and ball of fire. Varvara is the only child in her group who can walk. When her teachers are away she should stay in her bed. It is self-evident that Varvara runs nonstop around her playing room.

She is in a state of constant movement – running or somersaulting without paying any attention to any obstacle, living or otherwise, in her way.

She gets on well with children and adults, holds their hands but is quite happy alone as well. When she runs too much she can even sit on your lap. A two-minute break is more than enough for Varvara, though and here she starts her never-ending marathon.

Varvara deals with her toys in the same manner – she can hold them for some time and then suddenly drop them on the floor. If one takes her toy away, she may never notice it.

Varvara is not just a hyperactive child, but a mega super hyperactive one. At the same time it seems that she is absolutely indifferent to everything around her. It is hard to say if she turns back to you because you called her name or just because she wanted to do so.

It would be great if this child could find loving parents who would allow her to run instead of spending her time in bed. Perhaps Varvara will give up her chaotic movements if she finally has her chance to be around people who love her and let her develop her own way, reaching her little global goals. Every child deserves love and care!

Other children who dream of finding a family

If for some reason you are currently not able to adopt (for example, you are a student and do not have a family of your own yet) you are still able to help children at a boarding school (an orphanage) with your financial support. Ways you can help include: planning and participating in excursions and trips for children; visiting a child in an orphanage; or helping purchase developmental toys, books, construction sets, and sports equipment.
