Last fall, after proton radiation therapy in St. Petersburg, we all rejoiced at the success of our ward Bogdan Gubanov. Everything was wonderful! Bogdan returned to his hometown, full of strength and energy, met with friends and family, and even started going to school in the 9th grade. But already a month after the therapy, during the follow-up examination, he was found to have a new lesion, which, unfortunately, is now impossible to operate. The tumor is large and growing very rapidly. The situation is urgent and Bogdan's family is asking for help again.
Bogdan has now completed one very difficult course of chemotherapy, and there is at least one more such course ahead. And then he will again need radiation at the proton therapy center in St. Petersburg. The cost of treatment is 950,000 UAH. Funds are urgently needed, the clinic is waiting for him immediately after the end of chemotherapy, and this is the end of January 2021.
