Alyona spends every single day waiting and hoping that her suffering will stop soon. She has been diagnosed with a brain tumour and symptomatic epilepsy. She's already had an unsuccessful operation. The Ukrainian doctors cannot help her anymore and now she is hoping to be treated abroad in Russia at the S.Berezin Nuclear Medicine Centre of the International Institute of Biological Systems. This Centre can provide high-quality treatment and save Alyona of daily headaches and epileptic fits. The bill Alyona was presented with is 164,500 roubles, that's equivalent to UAH 44,000 (approximately 5,392 US dollars).

So right now Alyona's family is most preoccupied with fundraising to be able to pay for the treatment. Our foundation received UAH 11,028 (approximately 1,350 US dollars) in donations, whereas UAH 29,000 (3,533 US dollars) is still outstanding. There is no time to waste, Alyona's condition is deteriorating every day. Now she can hardly eat because of excruciating headache and had to give up all her hobbies as she has no energy left for them.

The treatment bill must be paid within a week as we took the responsibility by signing a contract with the Nuclear Medicine Centre. It's hard to watch a young girl and her family suffer, especially when the lack of funds may prevent her from seeing the day when she will get better and wake up without the pain.

Please support this family! In a week the payment for the medical help must be settled, and Alyona's life depends on that.
