Maxim has his loving parents now. He was adopted together with Andrey and Oleg by an American family
One rarely meets such a high-spirited and exuberant little person as Maxim. He is very modest and patient. Swinging in the playground makes him really happy.
Due to Maxim’s speech and mobility problems he rarely spends time with other children but whenever he can he enjoys playing with his friends in the sandbox. Although Maxim cannot draw well he tries to be the same as everyone.
Despite great difficulties with eating independently, Maxim can do that. He really loves juice and candies. When I once brought bear shaped candies Maxim, like the rest of the children, was asking me “Mom, give me some more!”
The view of the sea takes Maxim’s breath away. When we traveled to Berdyansk by the Sea of Azov Maxim was beaming with joy when we helped him enter the water. This unforgettable sea experience was reflected in Maxim’s eyes that were shinning with happiness.
Maxim is a special child who will always need someone’s care. What he really needs are a loving mom and dad. Be sure – Maxim will always gratefully give you his quiet love back.
If you are interested in adopting Maxim, please read the memo to the potential adoptive parents, guardians, and foster parents; you can also contact Children’s Affairs' service of the Zaporozhia State Administration by telephone (061) 239-01-56 and to tell them the number of Maxim's profile accordingly to the orphan list # 0160513.
Other children who dream of finding a family
If for some reason you are currently not able to adopt (for example, you are a student and do not have a family of your own yet) you are still able to help children at a boarding school (an orphanage) with your financial support. Ways you can help include: planning and participating in excursions and trips for children; visiting a child in an orphanage; or helping purchase developmental toys, books, construction sets, and sports equipment.
