Zaporizhzhia faces shelling almost every day. It is impossible to predict where the next drone or missile will strike. On March 16, a "Shahed" drone hit a private house where the teenage girl was staying. The impact left her trapped under the rubble. In another part of the building, neighbors were also killed or injured.

The girl was rescued, but she sustained severe injuries: displaced fractures of her arm and leg, damage to the shin bones, and significant soft tissue damage.

That same day, doctors at the Zaporizhzhia Regional Children's Hospital performed a complex surgery — osteosynthesis of the shoulder and right shin. A few days later, she underwent another procedure to remove necrotic tissue from burns, followed by a skin graft and additional surgery on her leg.

Currently, the girl is in the orthopedic and trauma department in stable condition. A long recovery lies ahead: healing of the skin graft, follow-up examinations, and the slow process of bone healing.

Medical implants were urgently required for her surgeries. We arranged a deferred payment plan with the supplier, but the total amount — 16,500 UAH (approximately 390 USD) — had to be covered.

The family's home has been completely destroyed and cannot be restored. We are raising funds to help the family cope with their daughter's treatment during this incredibly difficult time. Please, support our cause!
