Intermediate discharge summary: page 1 and page 2

ATTENTION! AS OF 08.01.2026: Collection suspended! Medicines for Mark have been purchased, thank you very much!

Mark was born prematurely. During childbirth, the boy suffered a stroke, and from the very first minutes of his life, he was placed in intensive care. Since then, he has undergone eight surgeries and battled meningitis, sepsis, and hydrocephalus. He was diagnosed with a congenital heart defect and multiple brain cysts. Despite everything, this little fighter proves his incredible will to live every single day.

Since birth, Mark has never been home doctors have not yet managed to stabilize his condition. He remains in intensive care and breathes through a tracheostomy. Due to frequent breathing arrests, he requires round-the-clock medical supervision and special equipment.

Marks family fled from the occupied territory and now lives in Zaporizhzhia. It is very difficult for his parents to cope with all the expenses on their own. Together with you, we have already helped the boy in July, an external drainage system was purchased.

Now Marks condition has worsened again. To stabilize him, a new drainage system and 30 vials of the antibiotic Zavicefta are needed. The parents have already purchased part of the required medication themselves. We also managed to provide the drainage system and antibiotics for this week about 45,000 UAH (approximately 1070 USD) have been spent. Currently, it is necessary to raise 32,000 UAH (approximately $765 USD) to cover Marks needs for the next week of treatment.

Dear friends, we ask for your support. Lets help Mark overcome the infection and finally return home!
